“Superstitions: Recital 13”

Interested in visiting China, Argentina, Vegas, a pirate ship or the circus? Maybe to attend a birthday party or a wedding? You can do all that while wishing upon a star under a full moon listening to Appalachian ghost stories at “Superstitions: Recital 13!!” Join gypsy fortune tellers, leprechauns, genies, witch doctors, black cats and birds on Saturday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Union County Fine Arts Center while we put multiple superstitions to the test, including walking under ladders, opening umbrellas indoors, and throwing shoes.

If you guessed all those are the routines you can expect at our recital, you would be correct! Come see these and more famous and not-so-famous superstitions and unexplained coincidences portrayed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acrodance, belly dance, and clogging dances and narrated by our musical theatre students. Tickets are on sale now at https://dancestudio-pro.com/tickets/blairsvilledance or at the studio. Studio hours are Monday from 5:00-8:30 and Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-8:30. Email [email protected] for more information. We look forward to seeing you on May 18…if you dare!
